C x interspecific is a hybrid between several different Clivias such as C.miniata, C.gardenii, C.robusta and C.caulescens. Very exciting hybrids have been and will continue to be created in the future. Very differentiated forms in colour and habit have already been bred in Australia, New Zealand, the USA and South Africa.
The leading breeders with corresponding proofs in their studbooks and seed catalogues will certainly play a decisive role in the development of new lines. However, one should not overlook the hobby breeders who, with a bit of luck, will also grow very interesting plants.
